This solid black walnut bar top was built for a client renovating a house in the Canton neighborhood of Baltimore. The rough sawn walnut lumber was hand-selected by the client from a shop sale by a local lamp craftsperson. The rough wood was transformed into a bar top by carefully planning, joining and oiling the wood. A final buffing of wax gave the top the luster and the durability to last for years in busy household.
