The homeowners of this project needed a coffee table that was the right size and color for their living room redesign. They were in search for the perfect centerpiece that matched the planned natural tones of the room but couldn’t find the right piece at retail. I worked with their design inspirations and developed this ash coffee table. The form tries to instill a sense of weightiness to anchor the room, while the finish balances that so the piece doesn’t overwhelm the space.
